Wake Early

Prepare to Exist

I’d woken up early, and I took a long time getting ready to exist.

Old Mens’ Dreams

Haven’t posted in a while – here’s something!

Finding inspiration in ODESZA’s music recently:

Working more with grid systems on the compositions of these. Just a simple modular grid for now, but will have to start playing with more interesting ratios! Have I ever mentioned how much I love working with grid systems?

And I’ll just leave this here:

More about that sometime soon 🙂

I’ve got a bit of a backlog of these, will post more this week! Still collecting and organizing my thoughts on this whole project – words don’t like to bend at my will… though I guess images don’t either 🙂

Here’s a beautiful little tune by Ldn.

Hold Your Breath

I’m writing up some thoughts on this new project, and I’ll share them when I’m ready. Until then, here are a couple more collage things from the last week.

Check out this mixtape by Sun Glitters!

Three More!

Continuing on with this experiment, and things are getting more interesting! In the two of these with text, I’ve used scanned pages from an old copy of Marshall’s Handy Manual, which was published in 1911. I picked it up, along with a box of other book-treasures, at a garage sale last summer. I’ll be combing these for more material to work with!

Been listening to so much Balam Acab the past few days: Apart , Motion

This would make for some good album artwork, no? Now I just need to finish writing some music! 😉
