Wake Early

Prepare to Exist

I’d woken up early, and I took a long time getting ready to exist.

And some beautiful morning music, by Mornings:

Shining a Light

“Shining a light of beauty in the universe”

There’s a line in this song, Maximalist, by Baths, that stops me in the middle of whatever I’m doing and asks me to really listen. I think you should listen, too. Last night, I decided to make this little illustration in response, using a mix of traditional and digital techniques. I kinda like it.

Living the Good Life

Huh, it appears I forgot to share this one! So much texture!

Awesome remix of The Submarine’s You Me & The Bourgeoisie by Tonetiger

An end can be a start

Phoenix – If I Ever Feel Better

So So Lovely

This song by Shigeto is So So Lovely that I was compelled to make this while listening to it on repeat:

I’ve got more work to do on this one, but I kinda like it in straight black and white as well.

Another one from Aeschylus: “Happiness is a choice that requires effort at times.”

Lusine – Gravity

Season to Learn

Winter is perhaps the best time to throw oneself into interests, new and old alike, in the aim of learning something. What will you learn?

“It is always in season for old men to learn.” – Aeschylus

This is probably my favorite design yet. I’m building some desktop wallpapers out of this one if anyone is interested.
